We are an independent claims adjustment firm centrally located within the state of Vermont. We provide claims adjustment services to insurance carriers throughout Vermont as well as insurance appraisal services throughout New England.

Our firm was started by Shawn P. Kimon – Owner and General Adjuster – Shawn has over 20 years of experience within the construction industry and more than seven years within the insurance industry. His employment prior to Green Mountain Claims Service LLC, spanned six years with a Vermont carrier as a field adjuster and one year as their property claims manager. His insurance experience includes large residential and commercial property losses, fraud/SIU investigations, subrogation, mediations, and trials. Shawn is proficient in property damage estimating, property valuations, complex coverage reviews, and loss of income calculations. His experience within the construction industry includes all phases of residential home building, building codes, and commercial construction, including project management.
